Obligatory new years resolutions:
•Read one book per month.
•Write 12k words per month.
•By the end of the year finish at least two of my fanfiction projects (Agents of Imperial Intelligence and Order of the Flickering Light) and move on to finishing part two of Kaeliterra. Finishing part two of Rakata vs Vong is on the list too.
I’ve also like to maintain this site a little more frequently than in the past. There is some non-fiction writing I’d like to post, and I’m thinking about connecting my portfolio and various presences online (DeviantArt, Youtube, Twitch, etc.) with ThisFicWriter as a home base of sorts.
It’s already the middle of January (hard to believe, I know), and, so far I’ve finished reading Artemis by Andy Weir. I was blown away by how detailed and well researched the physics were. On the downside the first half of the plot moved a bit slow, although the second half is pretty riveting.
A new skill I’ve been working on is live streaming. This ties together a few areas I work with, including graphic design, video production, and digital media. Plus, you get to play games while you do it.
Yep, that’s about it for this post. I’m excited to see where this new year takes me. First up; having fun with a fan rewrite of the Star Wars saga. Rise of Skywalker was a bit of a mess, which is the perfect time to insert a well constructed fanon. For more info on that head on over to What The Fosh Forum. Fanfiction.net is also where you can find my fanfiction work.
